This to Shall Pass

There was once a mighty king who demanded a gift that would make him sad when he was happy, and happy when he was sad.

After a long search and many failed attempts, a wise man presented him with a ring. The king, sitting on his throne in all his glory, looked at it and felt a flicker of anger. On the ring were engraved four simple words:

“This too shall pass.”

A reminder that everything in life is temporary — triumph and struggle alike. Stay humble in victory, hopeful in challenge, and grateful for both, and keep moving forward with that gratitude.

Today you got to fight another day.
