Optimize Your Mind
You have a limited amount of mind energy every day.
You can only work at the highest capacity for a limited period of time.
Everything you do consumes it.
Highest capacity means dedicating your mind to a single thought at a time.
Doing one thing at a time with 100% focus.
Most people have multiple processes running constantly, draining their energy.
They know they have to do something and don’t.
That decision you’ve been postponing, the action you wanted to take, or the thing you wanted to say—these run in a semi-conscious state,
consuming far more energy than it would take to just do them.
Most people have thousands of these.
Another massive energy drainer is micro-decisions:
what clothes to wear? Which shoes? What coffee to drink? What food to eat? Which glass to pour your drink into? Where to go? What to train? When to take the trash out?
Thousands of tiny choices happening constantly, stealing the focus you need to succeed.
Using your mind for things that don’t move you closer to your goals or give you true rest also wastes energy:
arguing, discussing politics, trying to prove a point, explaining things to people who aren’t ready or willing to hear them.
I become instantly enraged when I see people I care about doing this.
You have a dream you reach for with one hand,
and hold on to all this useless, energy-, time-, and focus-sucking nonsense with the other.
How do you expect to achieve anything?
Stop postponing decisions or actions.
Do them immediately, or schedule them and always complete them on time.
Otherwise, you’ll keep thinking about them and lose focus.
Eliminate micro-decisions.
Get a few quality clothing items that work with anything.
Choose a few meals that are simple, nutritious, and repeatable.
Schedule everything.
Every routine, starting from making your bed, brushing your teeth, eating.
Optimize over time. Make instructions for every process.
Plan your life to the point where others call it madness.
To the point where you won’t waste energy on any trivial choices.
And for god’s sake, stop fucking arguing about stupid shit.
I’m pleading with you. Don’t. It’s weak.
Say it once if it matters, and don’t repeat or argue.
The right people will hear.
Apply these things, and you’ll experience what a free mind is.
How much power it holds.
And what you can achieve when you use it correctly.
People will call it madness. Don’t argue—it is.
You know whats also madness?
owning supercars, jets, helis, and yachts, bending the fabric of the possible, changing the world with your work—these are all madness too.
Uncommon. Extreme. Extraordinary.
If you want to achieve them, act accordingly.
