Aim to Be Proud

Everyone chases a feeling.
Most people chase happiness.

They think happiness is the goal — the prize, the destination.
But chasing happiness often leads down a rabbit hole of degeneracy and destruction.

People who chase happiness try to feel good all the time.
They look for fun, comfort and pleasure — thinking that will bring them fulfillment.
But it doesn’t. It never does.

Because happiness isn’t something you catch.
It’s something that follows you when you live with purpose.

Don’t aim to be happy.
Aim to be proud of yourself.

Wake up every day and ask:
“What can I do today to be proud of myself?”

If you can truly say, at the end of the day, “I’m proud of who I was today,”
you’ll feel something deeper than happiness —
you’ll feel fulfilled.

And the beautiful part?
When you live in a way that makes you proud,
happiness comes as a byproduct.

So stop chasing happiness.
Aim to be proud.
